Helen A. Dellicker, 84, of Lakehurst, N.J., formerly of Hackettstown, died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2003, in Manchester Manor Rehab Center in Lakehurst.
Born: July 4, 1919, in Newark, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Amos and Elizabeth Weber Alpaugh.
Personal: She had lived in the Lakehurst area for 28 years, coming from Hackettstown, where she had lived for most of her life.
Helen was a licensed practical nurse with Centenary College in Hackettstown, retiring many years ago.
Memberships: She was a member and deacon of the First Presbyterian Church of Hackettstown and a member of the Lakehurst Presbyterian Church.
She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a past Grand Officer and past Deputy of the former Independence Chapter No. 102.
Survivors: her husband, Willard A. of Lakehurst; two daughters, Barbara Yankiv of Hackettstown and Dorothy Landiak of Allamuchy; a brother, Amos Alpaugh of Chester, N.J.; two sisters, Bertha Philhower of Sebring, Fla., and May Ely of Pompano, Fla.; three grandchildren, Gary Landiak, Dana Carpenter and Suzanne Raphaels; and three great-grandchildren, Kyle Landiak and Daniel and Stephen Carpenter.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown. Call from 10 a.m. to time of services Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Hackettstown Union Cemetery in Hackettstown. Online condolences may be sent to cochranfuneral.com.
