Perry was born Sept. 3, 1913, in Mead, Okla., to Joseph and Hattie May Williams. He married Virginia M. Cary on Feb. 15, 1936, in Trinidad, Colo., and moved to Pueblo in 1940. He was employed as a sales rep for a pharmaceutical company for 28 years, before his retirement in 1978. He was a member of Silver State Lodge No. 95 AF&AM and the Southern Colorado Consistory. Perry loved music and enjoyed playing the organ. He was an avid reader who appreciated the value of education. Perry was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 2004. His survivors include his son, Robert (Cheryl) Williams; grandchildren, Kimberley A. Schultz and Rob S. (Tracy) Williams; four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. At his request, no viewing. Cremation in the Davis Crematory. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He is survived by his wife, Laurene Carey, Manchester; one daughter, Esther Yates, Murfreesboro; two sons, Loren Carey, Lenoir City, Tenn., and John Carey, Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Gladys Groff, Carlisle, Penn.; one brother, Robert Carey, Maple Shade, NJ; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral Services were held April 13, 1006 at Gilmore Funeral Home, Rev. Bobby James and Jon Amspaugh, officiating. Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery. Gilmore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
