Leslie Ernest (Les) Baker was an Owner/Operator in Shave Clinic- South Everett.1 Leslie "Les" E. Baker, age 71, of Marysville, Washington passed away, February 7, 2006 in Everett. He was born May 19, 1934 in Hamer, North Dakota to Lester and Grace (Mannie) Baker. As a young child the family moved to Buckley, Washington and he lived there for 40 years. Les was a Marysville resident for the past 30 years. He was in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.

Les married his wife Armetta, September 5, 1975, in Seattle, Washington. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Marysville American Legion. Les and his wife owned and operated the Shaver Clinic in south Everett for many years. Most of all Les loved his family and people and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Armetta; sons, James (Theresa) Baker, and "Mike" Ronald (Kathy) Baker; daughters Jennifer (Cyril) Sallies of Florida. Juli (Charlie) Gwin-Stewart, and Lori Gwin; nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; brothers Eugene (Jane) Baker, David (Nancy) Baker, Francis (Shirley) Baker, and Jay (Candy) Baker; and sisters Donna (Dick) Severson, Patricia (Ray) Prukop, Eileen (Dick) Smith, and Grace (Gale) Stansell.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2006 at Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home, 804 State Avenue, Marysville.
