Leslie Martin King was born on 17 October 1884 in Redwood Falls, Redwood, Minnesota.1,2,3 He and Myrtle May Smith were married on 8 June 1910 in Winnebago County, Illinois.1 He and Myrtle May Smith were divorced before 24 September 1926. He died on 19 February 1954, at age 69, in Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas.3 He was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery (Rose Lawn Section F), Topeka, Shawnee, Kansas.3

Leslie M. KING, 69, of 1249 Tyler, died Friday in a Topeka hospital. He was born October 17, 1884, in Redwood Falls, Minn., and had lived in Topeka since 1921.

He had been a salesman for the Gas Service Co. in Topeka for 30 years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and Siloam Lodge No 225 AF & AM.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nelle Fitzgerald KING, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marleine CESSNA, Kansas City; a son, Robert L. KING, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Owen TRADEWELL, Rantoul, Ill.; a brother, Carroll D. KING, Pasadena, Calif.; five grandchildren; two nieces and an uncle, Riley P. MARTIN, Rockford, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The family requests that no flowers but contributions may be sent to the Kansas Heart Association, 112 West Seventh.
