Biography

Julia Carden was born on 10 December 1877 in Montrose, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.1 She and Fredrick (Fred) Owen Wintermute were married on 25 November 1898. She died on 27 March 1901, at age 23.
Mrs. Fred Wintermute, formerly Miss Julia Carden, who was married only a short time, died at her home, 713 Cedar avenue, at 8 a.m. yesterday. The remains were taken to the home of the deceased's mother, Mrs. Mary Carden, 213 South Irving avenue.

Mrs. Wintermute was 23 years of age, and had been suffering from pneumonia for only a few days, when death claimed her. A large number of friends are deeply grieved to hear of this sad occurence, as Mrs. Wintermute was highly respected by all who knew her.
