He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; sons, William Jr. (Lisa Holt), Gerald (Cheryl) and Roger (Elaine); son-in-law, Robert Doran; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard (Julie) and Howard (Ann); and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Doran.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
