Biography

Bruce Wayne Amore was born on 4 May 1946 in Phillipsburg, Warren, New Jersey.1,2,3 He and Theresa Ledonne were married on 4 April 1970.2 He died on 19 January 2016, at age 69, in Easton, Hampton, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was buried on 26 January 2016 in New Catholic Cemetery, Roseto, Northampton, Pennsylvania.2
US Air Force- Vietnam.3 Bruce Wayne Amore was an US Postal Carrier.3 Bruce W. Amore, 69, of Pen Argyl , passed away January 19, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital- Anderson Campus, Easton, Pa. Born May 4, 1946 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of Joyce (Snover) Amore of Allentown, Pa and the late Salvatore Amore. His beloved wife, former Theresa LeDonne, passed away in 1988.

He was a 1964 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and was a veteran of the United States Air Force during the Viet Nam War. He was a US Postal carrier out of Phillipsburg for over 35 years. He volunteered as a coach for various teams in the Roseto area and enjoy fishing at the Roseto Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and was a member and past president of the Home & School association for Our Lady of Mt. Carmel school.

In addition to his Mother Joyce, he is survived by two sons Mark and his wife Carol Amore of Harrisburg, Kevin and his fiancee Terri of Pen Argyl and a daughter Alicia and her fiance John of Tatamy and Five grandchildren and two brothers John of Phillipsburg, NJ and Robert of New Smithville, Pa. He was predeceased by his longtime friend Ann V. Racciato.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 26, 2016 at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Third & Garibaldi Avenues, Roseto. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9 to 10:30 am in the Fiore Funeral Home, 230 Market Street, Bangor. Burial will be in the New Mt Carmel Cemetery, Roseto.
