Leslie Raymond Gunter, Sr., was born on 22 August 1907 in Kentucky.^2,3 He and Ethel M. Bertholf were married on 25 December 1928 in Columbia, Warren, New Jersey.¹ He died on 28 January 1988, at age 80, in Columbia, Warren, New Jersey.³ He was buried in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Blairstown, Warren, New Jersey.⁴

Mrs. Betty O. Bertholf, 57, of Columbia, N. J., died Sunday in Pocono Hospital, East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Earl Bertholf.

She was a power press operator for the Oxford Tool Co., Oxford N.J., for 26 years until retiring last June.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Dairy (Davis) Hillyard.

Surviving with her husband are a son, Richard Read of Frystown, Lebanon County; s stepson, Gerald Bertholf, and a daughter, Mrs. Joan Gusset. both of Stroudsburg; a step-daughter, Mrs. Melinda Marico of Dover, N.J.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Johnsonville. Calling hours will be 7-9-p.m. Tuesday.

Doris J. Bontz was born on 11 September 1931 in Franklin, Sussex, New Jersey.^2,3 She and Kenneth (Kenny) J. Bertholf, Sr., were married in September 1949 in Blairstown Township, Warren, New Jersey.⁴ She died on 5 August 2000, at age 68. She was buried in Moravian Cemetery, Hope, Warren, New Jersey.³

Edward John Bobin was born on 23 August 1918 in Worcester, Worcester, Massachusetts. He and Clarice R. Bertholf were married in April 1949 in Blairstown Township, Warren, New Jersey. He died on 10 April 1999, at age 80, in Princeton Borough, Mercer, New Jersey. He was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Chester, Morris, New Jersey.

Cpl US Air Force- WWII- 29 Jan 1942- 05 Dec 1945.² Edward John Bobin was a Technical Sales Representative-Duro-Test Corporation. He was educated William and Mary College. Edward J. Bobin, 80, died Saturday (April 10, 1999) at Princeton Medical Center in Princeton.

Born in Worchester, Mass., he lived in Old Bridge and Succasunna before moving to Peapack in the early 1980s.

Mr. Bobin was technical sales representative with Duro-Test Corp. in Fairfield for 28 years. Hw also worked in the steel industry for Crucible Steel and Lukens Steel.

Mr. Bobin served in the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II, from 1942 to 1945. He attended William and Mary College in Williamsburg, Va.

Mr. Bobin was a golfer and had worked part-time at Flander's Valley Golf Course in Morris County.

A brother, Victor Babbitt, died in 1991, and another brother, Edmund Bobin, died in 1994.

Surviving are his wife, Lee Shafer Bobin; a daughter, Karen Hajdinyak of Randolph, a stepson, Wayne Schmittberger of Holland, Pa.; two stepdaughters, Linda Pellichero of Belle Mead and Debbie Babbitt of Worchester, Mass.; and five step-grandchildren.

A mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Brigid's Church in Peapack. Memorial contributions may be made in a favorite charity.
