John "Jack" Crisman
HARDWICK - John "Jack" Crisman, 86, a lifelong resident of Hardwick, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 at the Paragon Village Care Center in Mount Olive. He was born in Hardwick on Feb. 1, 1921, the son of Fred and Rose Hollenbach Crisman. Mr. Crisman was a part-time farmer and for many years was a farm mechanic for the H.G. Rydell Co. in Marksboro.
An avid hunter his whole life, he was the co-founder of the North Warren Farmers Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Crisman lost his wife, Grace, in November.
He is survived by two sons, John E. Crisman and wife, Terry, of Hardwick; and Fred Crisman and his wife, Barbara, of Mount Bethel, Pa.; a daughter, Rose, and her husband, Frank Binger, of St. Mary's, Ga.; a sister, Betty Zenock, of Frelinghuysen; three grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. in the Newbaker Funeral Home, 200 Route 94, Blairstown. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Blairstown.
