Arnie G. Egolf, 72, died at his home in South Whitley at 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Mr, Egolf had been in failing health for the past ten months.

He was born December 24, 1889, son of George and Adaline Garrison Egolf and lived for 15 years in Columbia City before going to South Whitley to make his home. Mr. Egolf was an employee of the Weatherhead Company, retiring just a few years ago.

Survivors include the wife, Hazel; one daughter, Mrs. Walter Weiweber, R 1, Columbia City; two sons, Everett, Columbia City and Glen of Greenfield; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Sisters surviving the deceased are Mrs. Archie Coverstone and Mrs. Iva Zumbrum both of Columbia City.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, South Whitley. The Rev. John Jones, Syracuse, will officiate. Internment will follow in the South Whitley cemetery.

Glenn Harold Egolf was born on 13 October 1911 in Churubusco, Whitley, Indiana.^1,2 He and Mildred Alice Born were married on 12 October 1932 in Whitley County, Indiana.³ He died on 15 September 1995, at age 83, in Greenwood, Johnson, Indiana.²

Everett Edward Egolf was born on 2 October 1913 in Smith Township, Whitley, Indiana.^1,3 He and Lucille Luella Hively were married on 2 April 1933 in Collins, Indiana.² He died on 4 May 1988, at age 74, in Fort Wayne, Allen, Indiana.³ He was buried in South Park Cemetery (Annex B-50-7-2), Columbia City, Whitley, Indiana.³

Everett E. Egolf, 74, Whitley County Native

Everett Edward Egolf, 74, of 513 Park St., Columbia City, died at 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 1988, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Fort Wayne. He had been ill since May of 1987 and had been hospitalized since April 22.

Mr. Egolf was born Oct. 2,1913 in Collins, to Arnie and Hazel Crow Egolf. He was reared in the Collins and Churubusco areas and had lived in Columbia City since March of 1940.

He retired in 1976 as a machinist with Dana-Weatherhead, Columbia City, after 35 years of service. His memberships had included Columbia City Eagles Lodge 1906 and the Dana-Weatherhead Pioneer Club.

Mr. Egolf and Lucille L. Hively were married on April 2, 1933, at Collins.

Surviving are his wife Lucille; a son, Ronald Egolf of Columbia City; two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Carolyn) Burrey of R 2, Roanaoke and Mrs. Don (Pamalyn) Endsley of Warren. There are 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Glenn H. Egolf of Columbia City and a sister, Fern Weisweber of Columbia City.

A son, Rodger Lee Egolf, is deceased.

Friends may call at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and after noon on Saturday. The service will be at the funeral home on Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Marvin Bell of New Apostolic Church, Fort Wayne officiating.

Burial will be in South Park Cemetery.
