Pearl Evelyn Reckless was born on 27 April 1894 in Pennsylvania.1,2 She died in September 1982, at age 88, in Pennsylvania.3 She was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.3
Birth: Apr. 27, 1894

Death: Sep., 1982
Pennsylvania, USA

Pearl once mentioned that she had been engaged to a young man but he had died. She didn't give me any details so I don't know what the cause of death was or how long they had known each other. It is possible that he was someone she met while at the tuberculosis sanitarium. I have the distinct impression that she never dated anyone else after that.
Pearl was fond of children and taught Sunday School for many years. She also worked for the Society for the Blind. She and her mother once appeared in a Gilbert and Sullivan production.
