Paul H. Styer, 89, husband of
Dorothy M. (Little) Styer, of
Frederick, who died Oct. 25.
Born in Limerick, he attended
Soudertown High School. He
worked as a business manager for
the former Town and Country
Newspaper in Pennsburg, now
known as Hearthstone Town and
Country, for 23 years, retiring in
1979.
He was an Army Corps. of
Engineers veteran of World War
II. Styer was awarded the Good
Conduct Medal, the European
Theater Service Medal with five
Bronze Stars and the Victory
Medal. He served in Normandy,
Northern France, Rhineland,
Ardennes and Central Europe.
He was a member of Peace in
Zion United Church of Christ in
Zieglerville.
Surviving in addition to his wife
of 65 years is a sister, Ruth S.
Fuhrman of Souderton.
He was preceded in death by a
brother, William H. Styer.
Burial was in Limerick Garden
of Memories.
