Gordon A. Potter, age 73 of Springport, died Sunday, January 21, 2001 at his residence. Gordon was born February 17, 1927 in Holt, MI, the son of john R. and Agnes Potter. He retired from Federal Drop Forge and enjoyed working at Felpausch in Eaton Rapids during his retirement. Gordon was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosalena in 1975.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Roberta; 2 daughters, Linda L. Losey and Wanda Driscoll both of Springport; son, Bruce (Evangeline) Potter of Eaton Rapids; 7 grandchildren, Kelly Christopher and Jeffrey Losey, Anne and Spencer Potter, Randy Lape, Autumn Driscoll; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Funeral services will be held in Wednesday, January 24, 2:00 p.m. at the Shelly-Odell Funeral Home, Eaton Rapids with Rev. Jack Fugate officiating. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, Eaton Rapids. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1-3 & 6-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Those desiring may make contributions to the Eaton Rapids Medical Center Foundation in memory of Gordon Potter.
