CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Albert F. Everett, 82, died Sunday, Jan. 14, in Charlotte, N.C.
Born and raised in New Hope, Mr. Everett attended St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church in Solebury.
He retired from ITT Electronics as an engineer.
He served in the Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge.
He was the son of the late Walter and Thelma Everett.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Everett; a son, Dwight Everett; two grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlynn Everett; two brothers, Walter and Harry Everett; and three sisters, Thelma Kintzel, Norma Case and Betty Connery.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the church at 1 Riverstone Circle. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be today (Jan. 18) Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Lambertville Beacon published front page articles on his accident on May 29, 1952 and June 5, 1952.

NEW HOPE -- Walter J. Everett III died Monday, April 14, 2008 at Doylestown Hospital. He was 85.
A lifelong resident of New Hope, he was a son of Walter J. Everett II and Thelma Lear Everett. Mr. Everett was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church.
He served in the Army during World War II, was a life member of the Edgar H. Denson American Legion Post in New Hope, and had been a member of the Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad, the New Hope Eagle Fire Company and the Bucks County Police Chiefs Association. For 28 years Mr. Everett was a police officer for New Hope and for 18 of those years served as its chief, retiring in 1991.
His wife, Gloria Fitzpatrick Everett, died earlier.
He is survived by a son, Walter J. Everett IV of Upper Black Eddy, Pa.; three daughters, Gloria Jean Clark of Danboro, Pa., Marge Carr and her husband Richard of Doylestown and Linda Voorhees and her husband Charlie of Lambertville; three sisters, Norma Case of West Amwell Township, Betty Connery of Somerton, S.C. and Sue Kintzel of Rosemont; a brother, Harry Everett of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin of Tours Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be today 6-9 p.m. at the Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. (Route 179) Lambertville.
