GLORIA FITZPATRICK EVERETT of Solebury Township died peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2003, at her home. She was 81.

She was the wife of 59 years to WALTER J. EVERETT SR.

Born in Bound Brook, N.J., she was the daughter of the late JOSEPH and LUCY TARENTINO FITZPATRICK.

Mrs. Everett had lived in Lambertville for many years and in Solebury Township since 1948.

She was a member of St. Martin de Tours Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Everett was a life member and president for 25 years of Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad Ladies Auxiliary and was responsible for the scheduling and catering of the events held in their reception hall. She also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of New Hope Eagle Fire Co. and a past member of Edgar H. Denson American Legion Post 79 Ladies Auxiliary, as well as a member of both the Lambertville and New Hope senior citizens organizations.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, WALTER J. EVERETT JR. of New Hope; three daughters, GLORIA JEAN CLARK of Danboro, MARGIE CARR of New Britain and LINDA VOORHEES of West Amwell Township, N.J.; four sisters, PATRICIA HUBER of Hopewell, N.J., LUCILLE PAYTON of Doylestown, DOROTHY ANKIEL of Erie and EVELYN DANAK of Philadelphia; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin de Tours R.C. Church, Route 202, New Hope, where interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Garefino Funeral Home, 12 N. Franklin St. (Route 179), Lambertville, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lambertville-New Hope Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 237, Lambertville, NJ 08530.

Everett, III and Gloria Fitzpatrick Everett and mother of the late William Goccia, she is survived by her son Adam Goccia of Doylestown, two sisters Margie Carr and her husband Richard, Linda Voorhees and her husband Charlie, one brother Walter J. Everett V and his wife Cindy, her grandchildren Kayla Goccia and Andrew Quinlan, a niece Krystle Voorhees and other extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday April 27 at 11:00 am at St. Martin’s of Tours Roman Catholic Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Everett Sr., 74, of Litchfield, NH, died peacefully on Wednesday, July, 10, 2013, of cancer at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 28, 1939 in New Hope, PA. He was the youngest of eleven children to the late Walter and Thelma (Lear) Everett. He attended New Hope-Solebury High School before serving in the U.S. Navy as an Airman and Plane Captain on P-2V Neptunes. He retired as Foreman of Toll Equipment for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority.

Harry was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed shooting darts, playing on many dart leagues in the greater Nashua area. He was a member of the VFW Hudson Memorial Post 5791 Men's Auxiliary, Club National, and Lafayette Club.

He was predeceased by a son Francis Everett.

Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Calef Rd., Manchester, NH.
