Friends may call at the Carlson Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Masonic Services will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Daniel Little will conduct services from the funeral home at 11 a.m. Wednesday with interment in Morningside Cemetery. Parson-Marnato American Legion Post willl accord military rites at graveside.

Mr. Cope was born Sept. 27, 1894 in Norristown, Pa., son of Harry and Elizabeth (Moore) Cope. He was married to the former Helen Clark 52 years ago, she survives.

He served as a letter carrier in Brockway 42 years prior to retirement and was secretary of the Letter Carriers Division. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, serving as an Elder. He was a 32nd Degree Mason of Doylestown F. and A., 245, Coudersport Consistory and American Legion Post 95 of Brockway for 50 years. He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the Air Force.

Survivors are his wife: a son, Michael of Colorado Springs, Colo., a brother Harry L. Cope of Doylestown and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.
