Catharine Cella Reeder, 72, of 24 Stuyvestant Drive, Edgemoor Terrace, died Monday at her home after a short illness.
Mrs. Reeder's husband, John DeVore Reeder, a local artist and co-founder of the Brandywine Arts Festival, died in 1980. She is survived by a daughter, Joan R. Marini of Lindemere; a sister, Marie MacIntyre of Wilmington, and three grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday morning at 10 at St. Helena's Catholic Church, 602 Philadelphia Pike. There will be no viewing. Burial will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park. Instead of flowers, the family suggets contributions to the building fund of Ursuline Academy, 1102 Pennsylvania Avenue, Wilmington 19806.
