Michael J. Hillpot, 45, of Bethlehem, died December 10 in his home. Michael and his wife, Michelle Shelly (Marhefka) Hillpot were married 24 years in May. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of Robert P. and Barbara (Kristofik) Hillpot of Bethlehem. Michael worked in engineering and test development for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 26 years. He was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 2174 Lincoln Ave., Northampton. Michael was a baseball coach for Allen and East Allen townships and also a football coach for Bath Lions. Michael is an honorary member and former assistant fire chief of Han-Le-Co, Hanover Township. Survivors: Besides his wife and parents; daughter, Denise, and son, Dennis, both at home; brother, Robert and his wife, Tracy, of Bethlehem, Scott and his wife, Janice, of Allentown; mother and father-in-law, John and Rose Marhefka; sisters-in-law, Debbie and her husband, Bill Nothstein and Annette and her husband, Jim Englert, all of North Catasauqua; maternal grandmother, Veronica Kristofik of Spring Hill, Fla. Services: 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Call 7-9 p.m. Monday and 8-9:15 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. burial will be in the parish cemetery.
