Joyce Ann Badger was born on 27 September 1935 in Towanda Township, Bradford, Pennsylvania.2 She and Norman Duane Wickwire were married on 5 January 1956 in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. She died on 10 February 1986, at age 50, in Wysox, Bradford, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was buried in Wysox Cemetery, Wysox, Bradford, Pennsylvania.
Joyce Ann Badger was a Founder- Secretary & Treasurer Wickwire Trucking Company.1 Joyce B. Wickwire, 50, Mercur Hill Drive, RD 2 Wysox, died on Monday Feb. 19, 1986 at her home following a lenghty illness.

Born Sept. 27, 1935 in Towanda Township, she was the daughter of Franklin and the late Grace Dimon Badger.

Mrs. Wickwire graduated from Towanda High School in 1953.

On Jan. 5, 1956 she married Norman D. Wickwire. He survives at the home.

She was the founder, secretary and treasurer of the Wickwire Trucking Company of Wysox. She also was employed by the Farm Credit Bureau in Wysox and the Sears & Roebuck Company for 19 years, serving as assistant manager for several years.

An active member of the Wysox Presbyterain Church, Mrs. Wickwire was a trustee, deacon and elder, and member of its Women's Sewing Circle and choir. She aslo was a past president of the Towanda organization of Business and Professional Women, and a member of the Wysox Fire Company Auxiliary.

Additional survivors are two sons; Ronald L. and Gary D., both of RD 3 Wysox; three grandchildren; her father of Fairport, N.Y.; two sisters; Mrs. Richard (Linda) Martucello of Canandalgua, N.Y. and Mrs. Bruce (Pat) Arabatto of Rochester N.Y.

Friends may call at the Maryett-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at her church with the Rev. Harry Ferguson, paster, officiating.

Burial will be in the Wysox Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to Joyce H. Wickwire Memorial Fund, in care of Mr. amd Mrs. Willis Jennings, Box 153, Wysox 18854.

Lillian (Lily) Elizabeth Allen was born on 3 April 1926 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.2 She and Willard Franklin Ackley were married on 28 August 1948 in Wysox, Bradford, Pennsylvania.1 She died on 3 January 2011, at age 84, in Sayre, Bradford, Pennsylvania.2

Lily Elizabeth Allen Ackley, 84, well known resident of Macedonia, Towanda RR 2, Pa., passed away Monday morning, January 3, 2011 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, Pa. Lily was born in Hartford, Conn., on April 3, 1926, the daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Fromherz Allen. She moved to the Wysox area with her parents when she was a teenager and assisted them in the operation of their business, the Good Luck Inn Cottages in Wysox. On Aug. 28, 1948, Lily married Willard Frank Ackley at the Wysox Presbyterian Church. In early years, Lily was employed by Alpine Dry Cleaners in Wysox and was later employed by the Towanda School Cafeteria for a number of years. Lily and her husband Willard owned and operated several businesses in the Wysox area and established Ackley's Campground now known as Riverside Acres in Macedonia. They also owned and operated their school bus business serving the Towanda Area School District for over 40 years until their retirement. Lily was an active member of the Wysox Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the church choir and participated in various church activities. She was a member of Wysox Rebekah Lodge No. 443, Towanda Area Senior Citizens and the local Red Hats Society. Lily also served as a volunteer for functions in support of the Wysox Volunteer Emergency Medical Services for many years. Lily enjoyed camping, traveling, taking bus trips with friends, flower gardening and collecting ceramic frogs. She is survived by her children: Pamela Irene Nelson and her husband Keavin of Hellertown, Pa., Kenneth A. Ackley and his wife Diane of Macedonia, Timothy C. Ackley and his fiancé Donna Partridge of Macedonia; grandchildren: Brandon, Caitlin, Joshua and Cody, a great-granddaughter, Alexis Ackley; sister-in-law, Marjorie Benjamin of Wysox; brothers-in-law: Ken Sypult of Norfolk, Va., Jim Dixon of Macedonia; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Willard Frank Ackley on Nov. 14, 2003 and by sisters, Marion Layland and Joan Sypult. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2010 at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home, 217 York Ave., Towanda, Pa., with Rev. Russell S. Duncan, pastor of the Wysox Presbyterian Church, officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Wysox Rebekah Lodge will hold a service of remembrance at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Timothy C. Ackley, 55, of Asylum Township, PA passed away peacefully Friday morning, March 17, 2017 at his home.

Timothy was born in Towanda, PA on December 2, 1961 the son of Willard Frank Ackley and Lily Elizabeth Allen Ackley.

He was a graduate of Towanda High School and was employed for many years by Masonite Corporation in Wysox and GTE Sylvania in Towanda. Timothy was later employed by Southwest Energy, Howard Energy Partners and Williams Energy. Timothy enjoyed boating and camping with his children and had a passion for motorcycle racing and playing drums in a band in earlier years.

He is survived by: his son, Cody Ackley of Asylum Township, stepchildren, Matthew Partridge of Wyalusing, Samantha Partridge of Towanda, Maxwell Partridge of Alabama,
sister, Pamela Irene Nelson and husband Keavin of Hellertown, PA,
brother, Kenneth A. Ackley and wife Diane of Macedonia, niece, Caitlin Nelson, nephews, Brandon Nelson and Joshua Ackley, great niece, Alexis Ackley, aunt, Marjorie Benjamin of Wysox,
