Waucoma -
There has been some sickness here, mostly among children. All are recovering but bright-eyed little Harry Bunny, almost three years old, the darling of his parents and sisters, who has taken away.
Parents, sisters, cease your mourning -
Though God has taken him away.
His little feet in the golden street
Shall never, never go astray
So let your grief be all evaded.
Bid your heart's complaint to cease,
For in that land, sunbright, immortal,
You shall know a perfect peace.
Sweeter grows the pleasant mem'ry,
Nearer comes the golden shore,
Soon you will meet your little Harry
And sing God's praises evermore.
