Mr. Mills was born Sept. 27, 1919, in LaPorte. On Sept. 12, 1984, in La Porte, he married Deloris M. Carter, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Sandra Poort of Florida, Debra K. Mills of Michigan City, Billie M. Kobos of LaPorte and Betty J. Mills of Oak Park, Ill; two sons, Leon R. of Mill Creek and Daniel J. of Atascadero, Calif..; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Norman J. of Altamonte Springs, Fla. Mr. Mills wa a self-employed musician with his own band called the P.M.s. He was a member of the American Federation of Muscians.

Mom is buried near her sister Grace whom she was very close to.

The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at he Hummer-White Mortuary. Rev. Harold J. Knappe will officiate. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thurday until time of service.

Mrs. Glafcke was born Dec. 23, 1901, in Knox, Ind., the daughter of Arthur and Stella Alexander. On March 25, 1922, in St. Joseph, Mich., she married Harry W. Glafcke, who survives.

Also surviving are a brother and three sisters, James Alexander, Westville, Ind., June Gerstner, LaPorte, Irene Lane, South Bend, Ind., and Lucille Hagerty, Jackson, Mich. Two brothers are deceased.

Mrs. Glafcke was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
