Made despondent by ill health, having been a sufferer from heart trouble for the last three or four years, Robert Andrew Ackley, 73 years of age, well known farmer living in South Albion, died Friday afternoon at the Sheldon Memorial hospital. Ackley shot himself with a .32 caliber revolver earlier in the day. He got up from the dinner table and taking the revolver, which had been around the farm for killing rats, went to the back proch, where he turned the gun upon himself. One bullet took effect in the left breast just over the heart and another went through the right temple. A third bullet failed to hit him.
