She married Joseph L. Jepsen June 19, 1937 at St. Patrick's Church in Kankakee. He died April 22, 1965.

She was preceded in death by a son, Kevin, and a brother, Harold.

Mrs. Jepsen was a homemaker and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Paxton and the Council of Catholic Women of the parish.

Mrs. Jepsen also had been a longtime member of Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Bourbonnais and the Business and Professional Women's club.

Elaine Joy Glaze, 73, of Bradley, died Monday (Sept. 10, 2012) at Bradley Royale Health Care Center. Graveside inurnment will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kankakee Memorial Gardens, Aroma Township. Memorials may be made to the family wishes. Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home, west Kankakee, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Glaze was a homemaker. She was born March 23, 1939, in Peotone, the daughter of Frank and Eileen Ravens Popstein. Her husband, Ivan Glaze Jr., whom she married Dec. 1, 1956, passed away in 1987. She enjoyed collecting angels and salt and pepper shakers.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Mary Glaze, of Kankakee, and Timothy and Peggy Glaze, of Bradley; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and William Brozek, of New York, and Bette and Ray Scott, of Arizona; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Vicki Popstein, and Tobey Popstein, all of New York, Ralph and Karen Popstein of Pennsylvania, Carl Popstein of California, and Steven Popstein, of Arkansas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bryan; one grandson, Dustin Glaze; one brother, Robert; and one sister, Elizabeth.
