Bill E. Lee, 76, of 3798 TH 10, Sycamore, died Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at home. He was born Dec. 21, 1931, to Stanley E. Lee and Marjorie C. (Curlis) Lee, in Wyandot County. They are deceased.

He married Jane (Volkmer) Lee Jan. 5, 1953, and they later divorced. She survives.

Other survivors include his children, Robert M. (Kris) Lee, Tiffin;, Cathy (David) Kessler, rural Tiffin, and Jerry H. Lee, Toledo; four grandchildren, Lisa Kessler, Columbus, Ryan Kessler, Columbus, Matthew (Nikki) Lee, Holland, and Lindsay Lee, Sylvania; and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Lee.

He was a retired farmer and of the Protestant faith.

He graduated from Sycamore High School in 1949; was a member of the Sycamore American Legion Post 250; member of Tiffin AMVETS Post 48; and a member of Fostoria United Sportsmen. He loved to bowl and collect antiques.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Gary Glasscock officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, where Sycamore American Legion Post 250 will conduct a military graveside service. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Sycamore American Legion Post 250 or a charity of the donor's choice.
