He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick O. and Ruth A. Want Albers; one son, Michael; several brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Sterling Cemetery with Chaplain Doyle Karst. The body will lie in state at the Zink-Fox Funeral Home of Sterling from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday with the family greeting friends and relatives from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. Friday. A memorial has been established to the family's choice. Military graveside honors will be conducted by Harm Sangen Post #140 of the American Legion of Sterling.
