Albert Raymond Iacovelli, age 75 of Lansing, died Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Hospicare. Al was born in Ithaca, the son of the late, James and Ruth Teeter IacoVelli. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed most being with his family on picnics, family dinners and being together for t he holidays. He also enjoyed bike riding and hiking.
Survivors include his Wife of 16 years, Nancy DiPrimio lacovelli; a son , Randall (Toni). Ward; three daughters, Luann Norman, Krista Tagliaven to, and Yvonne Sterling: step-son Timothy Mavros, 11 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren; five brothers, James (Toni), Paul (Ginny), Lawrence ( Trinalee), Orlando (Helen), and Ralph (Roxanne) Iacovelli; a sister, Vi rginia (Donald) Seacord; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces an d great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his first wife Bessie Reeves Iacovelli, a brother, Joseph (Anastasia), and his step-son , Raymond Ward.
Albert was employed by Cargill Salt for several years, before joining t he Laborer's local 589, for which he was a member for over 35 years before retirement in 1994.
He was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 961 in Ithaca, NY.
