LANTERMAN Arlene M. HERKO, 63, of Spencer, NY died at her home Monday, May 22, 1995 after her battle with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). She was born in Troy, PA, October 29, 1931, the daughter of Wellington F. and Agnes (York) Lanterman. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Herko of Spencer, NY; three daughters; a step-daughter and two step-sons; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Larry G. (Maxine) Lanterman of Lowman, NY; sisters, Sandra (Edward) Swayze of Ithaca, NY and Lila (Stan) Skikowski of Alpharetta, GA; nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held May 25 at the Allen-Manzer Funeral Home in Spencer with the rev. Donald S. Miller officiating and interment to be in Lockwood, NY Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Tioga County Hospice, 231 Main St., Owego, NY 13827.

Suzanne G. Lanterman, 72, of Stafford, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Greenfield of Spotsylvania.

Mrs. Lanterman was born May 30, 1946 to the late Glenn F. Getchen and Muriel I. Neitz.

She was a member of Aquia Episcopal Church in Stafford. Mrs. Lanterman worked for many years for the federal government. She had a love for puzzles, crafts, and family. Mrs. Lanterman was a strong-minded and loving woman who loved to laugh. She was fiercely loyal to her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Carol Coffman and J. Todd Coffman; and granddaughters Amber L. Coffman and Sarah E. Coffman who will continue to hold her close to their hearts and in their memories.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Aquia Episcopal Church.
