Mrs. Kizer was born on Feb. 23, 1921, in Waucoma, Iowa, to Dr. Paul and Leta Rawson Belding. She entered eternal life on Dec. 17, 2005, in Oklahoma City at the age of 84.
She married Donald E. Kizer on April 2, 1942, in Fayette, Iowa. Mrs. Kizer received her bachelor of science and music degree from the University of Upper Iowa. She was a high school teacher of science and music and served as choir director for First Christian Church in Ardmore for 10 years. More recently, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church and sang in the church choir. Mrs. Kizer was awarded for 60 years of contribution to church music. She was also very active in the Republican Women's Club.

Family was the highlight of her life. Celebrating with them on special holidays brought her great joy.

She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Dr. Donald E. Kizer, of the home; two sons, Paul Earl Kizer and wife, Glenda, Bartlesville, and Steven Anthony Kizer, The Bronx, N.Y.; four daughters and their husbands, Karol Ann Paquette and Simon, Vancouver, Wash., Nikola Suzanne Childress and Brian, Pensacola, Fla., Lisa Jan Brownen and Barry, and Donna Lee Blundell and Mike, all of Ardmore; a sister, Catherine Belding Udehn, Moline, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Kizer was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Laverne Belding and Dr. James Belding.

Leverne (Pee Wee) Albert Belding was born on 4 November 1922 in Waucoma, Fayette, Iowa.¹ He died on 1 March 1980, at age 57, in Olympia, Thurston, Washington.¹ He was buried in Masonic Memorial Park (Block 182, Lot 12, Row 12), Tumwater, Thurston, Washington.¹

James Herbert Belding was born on 2 October 1929 in Waucoma, Fayette, Iowa.^1,2 He died on 1 May 1977, at age 47, in Iowa City, Johnson, Iowa.^1,2 He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein, Fayette, Iowa.¹

James Herbert Belding was a Dentist.³ He was educated University of Iowa Dental School. James H. Belding was born October 2, 1929, to Dr. Paul Herbert and Leta (Rawson) Belding. He graduated from Waucoma High School in 1948, and attended Upper Iowa University for three years, and graduated from University of Iowa Dental School in 1957.

Following in his father and uncle's footsteps, he did research for the University and published many papers in dental journals. He was an associate professor at the University of Iowa Dental School from 1960 to 1976 on a part time basis. He had a private practice in Independence, Iowa, from 1962 to 1976.

He married Rosemary Greco in 1951 and they had seven children: Christine, James, John, Paul, Mary, Randy, and Laura.

Dr. James Belding died May 1, 1977, at the age of 47.
