Barry Dean Brownen was born on 21 February 1951 in Bethany, Oklahoma, Oklahoma. He died on 12 October 2016, at age 65, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Oklahoma.
Barry Dean Brownen was a Uniroyal Employee.2 Funeral services for Barry Dean Brownen are scheduled for Thursday evening at 6:00 pm at Craddock Memorial Chapel with Mike Blundell Officiating. Assisting will be Terry Collier and Brent Simmons. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Barry was born February 21, 1951, in Bethany, OK to Harvey Lee Brownen and Ellen Lorene (Moore) Brownen. He graduated from Putnum City High School, in 1970. He passed this life on October 12, 2016. He and Lisa Kizer married, on November 24, 1978, in Ardmore, OK, and had three beautiful daughters.
Devoted to his family, Barry loved the outdoors, but, his favorite things were fishing, camping, cooking on the grill, and eating… mostly. He always had a good joke to tell and a great game of horseshoes going on. Barry was the life of the party and loved spending time with his family and friends with the best ol’ jolly laugh around and smile.
Barry helped remodel the Lake Murray Cabins in the 1970’s. He moved to Ardmore, in 1973, where he worked at Big Chief until 1981. He was hired on at Uniroyal and was there for 30 years and retired in 2010. Barry left a huge impression on everyone he had met during his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Lee Brownen and Ellen Lorene Brownen; Brother, Harvey Lee Brownen II (aka) Pat; Sister, Sue Jean Brownen.
Barry is survived by his wife, Lisa Jan Brownen of the home; Daughters, Keri Lynn Hobson and husband, Isaac; Heidi Michelle Hardee and husband, Chad; Stephanie Jan Collier and husband, Scott; Sister, Janet Miller; Grandchildren, Austin, Taylor, Paige, Dalton, Kaleb, Elexas, Bryce, Jordyn, Spencer, Brooklyn, Sierra, and Cayden; Great Grandchildren, Kacey, Julia, Levi, Elijah, and one due to arrive in April; Numerous Nieces, Nephews who respectfully called him “Huckleberry”, Cousins, and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers, Chad Hardee, Isaac Hobson, Scott Collier, Tom Cole, Terry Collier, Mike Blundell, and David Hardee.

Biography

Catherine Isabelle Belding was born on 14 October 1924 in Waucoma, Fayette, Iowa. She and Arvel Duane Perry were married on 28 September 1946.1 She and Carlysle David Udehn were married on 4 June 1949 in Iowa City, Benton, Iowa.1 She died on 11 April 2016, at age 91, in Moline, Rock Island, Illinois. She was buried on 15 April 2016 in Rock Island National Cemetery (Q-537), Rock Island, Rock Island, Illinois.2
Catherine Isabelle Belding was educated St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing/ Upper Iowa University.1 She was a Nurse/ Dental Assistant.1 Catharine I. Udehn, 91, of Moline, IL, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at her home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Church, 1611 41 Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38 Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.

Catharine was born on October 14, 1924, in Waucoma, IA, the daughter of Paul Herbert and Leta Rawson Belding. In 1941, she graduated from Waucoma Public School in Waucoma, IA. She then graduated from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Rochester, MN, in 1946 and from Upper Iowa University, Fayette, IA, in 1947.

On September 26, 1946, Catharine married Duane Perry, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1946. She later married Carlysle Udehn on June 4, 1949, in Iowa City and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1992. She was employed at the University of Iowa Hospital as a nurse and later as a dental assistant for her husband, Dr. Udehn.

Catharine was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Moline where she served on the Church Council and was a Sunday School teacher. She was a very well rounded person with many hobbies including; sewing, bridge, reading, cooking, ice skating, gardening, water aerobics and camping.

Arvel Duane Perry1

Arvel Duane Perry was born on 26 October 1924 in Stapleton, Chickasaw, Iowa.1 He and Catherine Isabelle Belding were married on 28 September 1946.2 He died on 19 October 1946, at age 21, in Winneshiek County, Iowa.1 He was buried in Waucoma Cemetery, Waucoma, Fayette, Iowa.1
U.S. Army-WWII- Dec 1942. Arvel Duane Perry was born at Stapleton, October 26, 1924 to Oscar and Agnes (Kilcher) Perry. He was a resident of Waucoma all his life except five years and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Stapleton in 1940.
He received his education in the Waucoma schools, graduating in the class of 1942. He started college at Luther college in Decorah, but quit to enlist in the army in December, 1942, receiving most of his training in California. He received his pilot wings in Arizona in 1944, and served 13 months in the Aleutians. He attained the rank of first lieutenant.
He was united in marriage on September 28, 1946 to Miss Catherine Belding, who was a childhood sweetheart.
Duane enrolled in Luther college to take up where he left off when he enlisted in the air corps.
Duane was killed in a car accident on October 19, 1946 in Winneshiek county.
A military funeral was held on October 22nd, 1946.
