Delbert Foster Vogel was born on 4 August 1914 in Wyandot County, Ohio.¹ He and Dorothy Belle Burks were married on 1 January 1937 in Ohio. He died on 11 September 1993, at age 79, in Bloomville, Seneca, Ohio.¹ He was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery (Section 2A, Row 16), Bloomville, Seneca, Ohio.²

Delbert F. Vogel, 79, rural Bloomville, died early Saturday, Sept. 11, 1993, in Mercy Hospital, Tiffin, following a brief illness.

Mr. Vodel was born Aug. 4, 1914, in McCutchenville to Ernest and Emma (Gintert) Vogel, both now deceased. He was married to Dorothy Burks, who died Oct. 31, 1973. He then married Minnie Harpers, who died Aug. 12, 1985.

Surviving him are two sons, Donald Vogel of Bloomville and Charles Vogel, a daughter, Darlene Harmon of Bloomville, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and three brothers, Robert Vogel of Bascom, Paul Vogel of Fostoria and Wayne Vogel of Genoa. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara, a son, James, and a brother, Clarence Vogel. Mr. Vogel lived in Seneca County most of his life and was a farmer for about 56 years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge 174 in Elmore, a member and master of Bloom Community Grange, a member of Bloomville United Methodist Church and a 1932 graduate of McCutchenville High School. He was a past 4-H advisor in the Bloomville area.

Services will be Tuesday in the Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, Bloomville. The Rev. Mark Reep will officiate with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.

Visitation hours are 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Grange services will be this evening at the funeral home at 8:30. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Barbara Jean Vogel was born on 17 September 1939 in Ohio.² She died on 15 June 1954, at age 14, in Tiffin, Seneca, Ohio. She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery (Section 2A, Row 16), Bloomville, Seneca, Ohio.
