Nancy Keenan Abelmann, daughter of John and Helen Carr Keenan, was born July 12, 1926, at Madison, Wisconsin, and died at her home in Milton, Wis., on Sept. 3, 1978, following a long illness. She was a graduate of Milton College and had taught art in Milton East elementary school since 1970.

She had been very active in art activities in southern Wisconsin and also in community affairs. She had served her church as clerk and trustee and in some of the other organizations. She is survived by four children: Peggy Zabriskie, Ghana, Africa; Kris Labarre, Paris, France; Nancy K. of Milton and Tom of Springfield, Ill. She is also survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Keenan, one brother and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Milton on Sept. 6 by Pastor Earl Cruzan. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Paul T. Abelmann was born on 3 December 1922 in Watertown, Jefferson, Wisconsin. He died on 14 May 2011, at age 88, in Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery (Block 610-4-5), Janesville, Rock, Wisconsin.

Dorothy Belle Burks was born on 25 March 1911 in Ohio.^1,2 She and Delbert Foster Vogel were married on 1 January 1937 in Ohio. She died on 31 October 1973, at age 62, in Bucyrus, Crawford, Ohio.² She was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery (Section 2A, Row 16), Bloomville, Seneca, Ohio.²

Gilbert John Thiel was born on 24 September 1905 in Salem, Wyandot, Ohio.^2,3 He and Gertrude Viola Burks were married on 26 May 1926.¹ He died on 29 August 1962, at age 56, in Columbus, Franklin, Ohio.^3,1 He was buried in Saint Peter Catholic Cemetery (Section 1, Lot 28), Upper Sandusky, Wyandot, Ohio.¹

Gilbert John Thiel was a Farm Laborer.² Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at nine thirty in St. Peters Catholic Church Upper Sandusky for Gilbert J. Thiel of 527 Gutherie St., Upper Sandusky who died in University Hospital Wednesday Aug . 28 at 10:45 p.m. of leukemia.

Mr Thiel was born September 24, 1905 the son of Paul and Mary Thomas Thiel in Salem Twp. Wyandot County.

He was married May 27, 1928 to Gertrude Burks who survives with two daughters Martha Jane the wife of Warren Kalb of Bucyrus and Madelon the wife of John Baxter of Findley. One son Gerald of Upper Sandusky also survives. There are seven grandchildren living and one brother deceased.

He was employed by the Chief Dairy Products Company in Upper for the past twelve years and a resident of the Upper Sandusky community all of his life.

Mr. Thiel was member of the St. Peters Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.

The Rosary will be repeated Friday night at eight o'clock in the Brinkman and Company Funeral Home where friends may call between two and five p.m. and seven to nine Friday.

Reverend Fr. William B. Sossong will conduct the funeral services with burial in the St. Peters Catholic cemetery, Upper Sandusky.
