Sherry L. Smith was an A&P Employee.4 Sherry L. Hoff, 66, of Upper Mount Bethel, PA, formerly of Belvidere, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Sherry was born in Easton, PA on April 7, 1948 to the late Robert (Peanut) Smith and Mildred Shay Wagner.

Sherry was employed at the A&P in White Township, NJ for 35 years. She was a 1966 graduate of Belvidere High School. Sherry enjoyed spending time with her family and having picnics. The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. Gupta and the staff at Lehigh Valley Heath Network-Bangor, PA and Monroe Hospice, East Stroudsburg, PA.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Kimberli Hoff and her fianc Scott LaBar of Bangor, PA; a grandson, Jarred Hoff of Wilson Boro., PA; long-time companion, Robert Dalrymple; a sister, Sharon Smith of Belvidere, NJ; sister-in-laws Marry Duckworth, Diane Woolf and Alice Cline; and her best friend, Charma Hriczak Dornich. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hoff; and a son, Robert M. Hoff.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00am at the Rupell Funeral Home, LLC; 465 Memorial Pkwy; Phillipsburg, NJ 08865. A visitation of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and again on Thursday from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Buttzville Cemetery; Green Pond Road; Buttzville, NJ.

James M. Mackes and Viola May (Garrison) Kice (daughter of Seth Garrison and Martha Reil) were married by Rev. Allen S. Meck (Northampton Co. marriage license #35160). They had no children.

James was buried in Stroudsburg Union Cemetery. (PA death certificate #91772) (Note: His funeral notice in "The Record", Stroudsburg, Thursday, 21 October 1943 reported that he was buried in Beakleyville Baptist Church cemetery.)
