Vera I. Jason 65, of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died Friday at the Fish Memorial Hospital in Newsmyrna, Fla.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10.a.m. at the Glenn W. Morrison Memorial Chapel at Lakeland, Fla., with the Rev. Steven B. Henderson officiating. Burial will be at Auburndale Memorial Park.

The Gentry-Morrison Funerla Home of Lakeland, Fla. handled arrangements.

She was born in Nankkin in 1922 to Alfred P. and Verna Eshelman Grissinnger.

She married Wayne I. Jason of Newsmyrna Beach. He survives.

She was a member of Coronado Baptist Church, Newsmyrna Beach.

Surviving are her husband of Newsmyrna Beach; four sons, Kenneth, Jerry and Victor, all of Lakeland, Fla. and Robert of Germany; a daughter, Maida Fritz of Red Oak, Va.; two brothers, Harold of Ashland and Richard of Wooster; two sisters, Kathryn Reish of Mount Vernon, Ill. and Virgina Mann of Eustis, Fla. and 15 grandchildren.

A son, Lewis, died in 1984.
