Biography

William Henry Camp, Jr., was born on 18 July 1930 in Trafford, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.2 He died on 22 January 2011, at age 80.2 He was buried in Salisbury IOOF Cemetery, Salisbury, Somerset, Pennsylvania.2
William Henry Camp, Jr., was an Electrician-Westinghouse STC.1 Camp, William Jr.- Age 80, of Monroeville, on Saturday, January 22, 2011, peacfully surrounded by his loving family, departed this Earth, and entered eternal Paradise. Bill was born in Trafford, and was the son of the late William Henry and Mabel (Smith) Camp. He was a retired electrician at Westinghouse STC, a 50 year member of the Valley Lodge # 613 F & AM, a 25 year member of the Trafford Volunteer Fire Co., where he had once served as chief. He was a member of Pittsurgh Grotto of the National Speleological Society and one of the proud discoverers of Coon Cave on Chestnut Ridge. Bill was a master stained glass artist who created many beautiful works. An avid model railroader and also an accomplished pilot. He was a lover of the outdoors in which he enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gertrude (Blasko) Camp, father William Robert (Debbie) Camp. Lisa (Jim) Caligiuri, Leslie Hilko (Ron Miller), and Ray (Melissa) Hilko; proud grandfather of Brian Camp (Jennifer Engle), Heather Camp (Rusty Baldt), Joseph Ritchie, Ryan and Erin Caligiuri and Jesse Hilko. Brother of Floyd (Denise) Camp and Sandra Camp Visco (Ken Walpole). He is also survived by his first wife Wanetta (Minear) Camp and his beloved niece Billie Lu Steiphen. The family would like to thank all of his caregivers, Bethany Hospice ana a special thank you to Paula Johnson for the sincere and loving care. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4503 Old William Penn Hwy., Monroeville, Pa. 15146. Everyone Please Meet at the Church. Interment Tuesday in Salisbury Cemetery.
