Betty Lynne Morgan was educated Christian College/ University of Nebraska. Lynne M. Witthoff, 71, Lincoln, loving wife and mother, died Thursday (7/22/2014), in Lincoln. Lynne was born Dec. 12, 1932, in Omaha to Frederick Wyman and Annabelle Card Morgan. She was a retired banker and owner of the Martell State Bank and was an insurance agent for Martell Insurance Agency. Lynne was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. She was a former fund-raising chairwoman for Nebraska Public Televisipn, was a lifetime member of Lincoln General Hospital Women's Auxilairy and was a past member of the Community Women's Club. Lynne enjoyed and supported the fine arts througout her life. While in college, she participated in summer stock theater in Toledo, Ohio. She was a former member of the Advisory Board of the Lied Ceneter for Performing Arts and a member of the University Place Art Center.

Haugner, Lincoln, Susan K. and William Symon, Leawood, Kan.; brother-in-law, spouse, Walter and Julie Witthoff, Des Moines, Iowa; sister-in-law, spouse, Anne and Thomas Kraeger, Denver; nieces and nephews, Scott and Mari Hoerner, Pahrump, Nev., Cindy and Gregg Ashcroft, Gilbert, Ariz., Joanne and Mike Sekulic, Chicago, Julie and Jeff Korte, Scottsdale, Ariz. Preceded in death by: daughter, Melinda Ann Morris; parents, Fred and Ann Morgan.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 6001 A St., Lincoln 68510. The Rev. Father Sam Boman. Cremation; no visitation. Earl J. Witthoff was born on 8 February 1935 in Akron, Summit, Ohio. He died on 16 February 2014, at age 79, in Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska.

Hon. Earl J. Witthoff, of Lincoln, died (2-16-14) Born in Akron, OH to Walter and Tersa (Woolley) Witthoff, former Lancaster County District Court Judge.
A graduate of Fremont High school, Ohio University and UNL College of Law, Phi Delta Phi Honorary Fraternity, president of Student Law Association. Admitted to the American Bar Association in 1961, a member of Lincoln Bar Association and Nebraska Bar Association. Earl was a Captain in the U.S. Army, Judge Adjutant General Corp. In 1962 he was the attorney and counselor of the U.S. Court of Military Appeals. Earl joined the firm of Arthur Perry, R.R. Perry and Edwin Perry in 1964. He became an attorney and counselor of the U.S. Court of Claims in 1968. He also was an adjunct professor for business law with the UNL college of Business Administration. He was former president of Southeast Nebraska Health Systems Agency, Former President of Lincoln/ Lancaster County Board of Health. In 1988, he was appointed by Governor Kay Orr to the 3rd Judicial District Court. From 1995 - 1999 he served on the Nebraska Supreme Court Committee on Practice and Procedures. Earl also served as President of the Nebraska Judges Association. He was a member of American Legion Post 3, Scottish Rite, Sesostris Temple of the Shrine, Masonic Lodge and Downtown Rotary. He retired after 20 yrs of service from the District Court for the 3rd Judicial District in 2008.
Family members include; Wife, M. Jane Ford Witthoff of Lincoln, NE. Sons; Scott Witthoff of San Francisco, CA, Robert (Wendy Collicott- Witthoff) of Lincoln, NE. Grandsons; Grant Witthoff , Philip Witthoff, Jack Ammon all of Lincoln. Step-daughter; Amanda Ford, Brooklyn, NY . Brother; Walter (Julie) Witthoff of Des Moines, IA. Sister; Ann Kraeger of Littleton, CO. Also survived by Steve Morris family.
Preceeded by parents, wives; Carolyn and Lynne, Sister; Julie Wood.
Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 20, 2014 at First Plymouth Congregational Church. 20th and D, Lincoln, NE.
