Mrs. Treadway was born April 15, 1901, at Rising City, the daughter of Noah A. and Bessie La Munyon Morgan. She graduated from Rising City High School and married Clarence E. Treadway Sept. 14, 1921, at Rising City.

Mrs. Treadway lived in Butler County, in Rising City, Surprise and Bellwood, until moving to St. Edward in 1957. She moved to St. Joseph's Viilla in 1960. She was a member of Bellwood United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Clarabelle (Mrs. Walter) Hoshor of Bellwood, Dorothy (Mrs. Joe) Kopecky of Octavia and Lois (Mrs. Chris) Hiller of St. Edward; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother. Merle Morgan of David City.

Clarence Ervin Treadway was a Farmer.2 Treadway- Saturday 2 p.m. funeral rites are scheduled at United Methodist Church, St. Edward, for Clarence E. Treadway, 78 of that community. He died Thursday in Butler County Hospital, David City, after an illness of four months.

Rev. Cecil Green will officiate; burial will be in Circle Mound Cemetery, Rising City. Visitation until 9 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, St. Edward, and 12-2 p.m. Saturday at church.

Son of Walter and Flora (Selden) Treadway, he was born Aug. 6, 1899 near Rising City where he attended Fairview School and married Florence E. Morgan on Sept. 14, 1921. He farmed and was associated with the lumber yard at Bellwood, residing in Butler County until moving to St. Edward in 1957. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Oddfellows Lodge.

Surviving are his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Clarabelle) Hosher of Bellwood, Mrs. Joe (Dorothy) Kopecky of David City, Mrs. Chris (Lois) Hiller of St. Edward; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, G. G. of Kearney, three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Ebel of Bellwood, Mrs. William (Sybil) Jones of Bell Gardens, Calif., Mrs. Janette Lamon of Seal Beach, Calif. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
