FORREST EDSON HUTCHINSON
On December 31, 1942, Forrest Edson Hutchinson was born to Arlene and Raymond Hutchinson in Lashburn, Saskatchewan. On April 3, 2013, at the age of 70, he passed away.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Amber Hutchinson and Shelly (Kristopher) Zimmermann, his grandchildren, Morgan and Konrad Zimmermann, his father Raymond, his brother Gerald (Fay), his sister Merna (Andy) Sadorsky, and his special friend Tika puppy. He was predeceased by his son Conrad Hutchinson, his sister Carol Hutchinson and his mother Arlene Hutchinson.

Forrest spent his youth in the Okanagan area moving to Alberta in the ‘60’s to pursue his love of art. There he met his wife and began his family while starting what would end up being a Bachelor of Arts and Teaching degree. He and his family then moved to northeast BC where he would expand his family by one and spend the next years of his life teaching art at Northern Lights College. After retiring from NLC, Forrest moved back to the Okanagan living in various places while working on his art full-time. He spent the last of his working years at Bloom and Sigalet where his brother Gerald worked and finally retired permanently after a number of years there.

There was an informal celebration of Forrest’s life held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at the Armstrong memorial park.
