He was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church, New Port Richey, past master of Bayse Newcomb and Springfield Masonic Lodges, Lulu Temple Shrine, Benjamin Franklin Consistory and Delco Grotto, and past adviser for the Order of Demolay, all of Pennsylvania, and member of the Gulf Harbors Civic Association. Survivors include his wife, Lillian; two sons, Larry, Granite Run, Calif., and Warren, Houston; and a nephew. Morgan Funeral Home, New Port Richey.

She is survived by a son, John Russell of Chads Ford, Pa.; a brother, Robert Clark of New Port Richey.

He came here in 1968 from Newark, Del. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. He was a charter member and treasurer of the Cape Coral Lodge 267 F & AM. He was a charter member of the Order of the Eastern Star Loyalty Chapter 309, trustee for Ivah Shrine 26, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and formerly a member of the Pennsylvania Club, A.A.R.P. and the Cape Coral Retired Citizens Inc.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Simpson of Cape Coral; one son, John Russell Simpson of Lantana, Fla., and a sister-in-law, Mrs. R.B. Simpson of Ocean, N.J.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the chapel of the Metz Funeral Home of Cape Coral with the Rev. Everett P. Bunck, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating, followed by fraternal service conducted by Cape Coral Lodge 367 F & AM.
Ivah Shrine 26, White Shrine of Jerusalem, will hold service Friday at 8 p.m. at the chapel of the funeral home
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The family suggests that memorials be given to the building fund of Cape Coral Lodge 367 F & AM or the Heart Fund.
