Cowles, Duanesburg, NY, Kathryn Boyle, Salisbury Mills, NY, Jean Ploutz, Binghamton; two stepdaughters, Norma McLean, Leesburg, Fla., Timmy Howatt, Amherst, Nova Scotia; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildlren. He was a resident of Leesburg since 1971, when he retired from IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY as a Customer Service Engineer. He was a member and Past Master of the Wadsworth Lodge No. 417 F &AM, Albany, NY. He was a Veteran of the Army Air Corps in 1928.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango St., Greene. The Rev. Robert Wood, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Greene, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford. The family will receive friends at the Root Funeral ome, Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Eastern Light Lodge No. 126 F & AM will hold services at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Bruce was a proud member of BTOE. He served in many offices of the Elks, Past Exalter Ruler of Lodge #2694. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #286, Operating Engineers Union #673.
