Lucille Althea Saylor was an US Postal Department Carrier. Lucille A. Cooke, 86, passed away on June 29, 2015 in Bethlehem, PA. Lucille was born on June 4, 1929 to Edgar and Helen (Roth) Saylor. She was born in Bethlehem at home on her parents' anniversary. Lucille worked full time for the US Post Office in Washington, NJ where she was a mail carrier and then retired. She also worked as a waitress in many Washington restaurants including Hills Diner, Pams Diner, and Zachies. She also drove a school bus part time. Lucille was an avid bowler and gardener. She also enjoyed mowing her lawn, sewing, playing the organ at St. Peter's Episcopal Church and at home, and socializing with her friends. She was married to Harry Freezer for 24 years, divorced him and was remarried to James H. Cooke for 19 years until his death in 1996. Lucille and Harry remained close in the last 10 years, bowling together and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Together they ran Harry - Lou's Snack Bar at Oakwood Lanes in the 1960's. survived by children . ...removed...... Lucille was predeceased by her brother Harold Baylor. (Saylor?)
