Biography

Sarah Ellen Wintermote was born on 28 October 1864 in Wapello County, Iowa.1 She died on 14 June 1877, at age 12, in Wapello County, Iowa.1 She was buried in Mount Zion Cemetery, Wapello County, Iowa.2
Sarah Ellen Wintermote was born to John Joseph and Martha Ann Dunn Wintermote on October 28, 1864 in Wapello County, Iowa.

She passed away June 14, 1877 in Wapello County and she is buried with or beside her parents in Mt. Zion Cemetery as her inscription is on her parent's headstone.

Robert A. Weil was born on 9 March 1926.1 He died on 11 February 2006, at age 79, in Roy, Weber, Utah.1

Robert Weil, 79, Ottumwa

OTTUMWA ? Robert Arthur Weil, 79, died Feb. 11, 2006.

He was born March 9, 1926, in Ottumwa, to Arthur Samuel and Beatrice Marie Johnson Weil. He married Wilma Fay Wintermote January 13, 1948 in Ottumwa.

A 1944 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he served in the Army Air Corp from December 1943 to December 1946 as a B-24 Aerial Gunner in Mindanao, Palawan and Clark Air Field, Philippine Islands. He graduated 1948-1949 from the Industrial Institute of Chicago, IL, where he studied heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and Field Engineering. He worked at Sears, Coca-Cola Bottling, was a night Fireman at Ottumwa High School and owned and operated Heating and Air Conditioning business in Centerville. He moved to Utah in 1959 and worked for General Services Administration in Salt Lake City and Ogden, UT, Pierre, S. D., Billings, MT, and Denver, CO, for 27 years. He retired in 1986. He was a member of Davis Street Christian Church in Ottumwa, Grace United Methodist Church in Billings serving as a Trustee and First United Methodist Church in Ogden. He was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Barbara Fay Weil (John) Crater of Roy, UT; a son, Robert Arthur Weil II (Isabella) of Roy, UT; grandchildren, Kenneth John Crater and Robert Arthur Weil III; great-grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Eryn Crater; a sister, Betty Marie Weil Miller of Medford, OR; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded by his parents; a brother, Arthur H. Weil; and a son, Raymond Clell Weil.

Services were held February 15, 2006, in Ogden, UT, with interment at Leavitt?s Aultorest Memorial Park.
