Biography

Jury (Georg) Philip Windemoet was born on 21 May 1705 in Pfungstadt, Kries Darmstadt, Hessen, Germany. He died in 1779, at age ~74, in Bertie Township, Welland, Niagara District, Upper Canada. He was buried in McAffee Cemetery, Fort Erie, Niagara Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada.

Christened Sept 1,1707 in Pfungstadt, Starkenburg, Hessen, Germany

Oklahoma Genealogical Quarterly, V. 14, #1, March 1969 - name was Jury Philip, m. Maria Julianna Houghtaling (Hoogeling, Huber, Hoverin). Philip came to America 11 Aug 1732 from Rotterdam to Phila. on Ship "Samuel." By 1745 he was in Sussex Co. NJ. In 1772 he moved with most of his family to Wyoming Valley in Pa. where he build Wintermute Fort. In Jun1 1778, the Fort was burned by the British. Most of the Wintermute family and several other families living in the Fort went to Canada with Butler's Army. Philip died in 1779 in Lincoln Co., Ontario, Canada

Baptised 5/24/1705. Jury (Georg) Philip Windemoet immigrated in 1732.

Addie Andrews was born in 1879 in Montrose, Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was married about 1898. She and Samuel Jacob Wintemute were married about 1901.1 She died in 1966, at age ~87.2 She was buried in Springfield Cemetery (Section G, Lot 32, Grave 8), East Springfield, Erie, Pennnsylvania.2
