Edith Anna Huffman, age 73, of Austin, Minnesota died Sunday afternoon, April 5th, 2015, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Home in Austin. She was born May 7, 1941 in Austin, Minnesota to Conrad and Buelah (Bly) Emery. After growing up in northeastern Iowa, Edith moved back to the Austin area. She married Wesley Huffman in November of 1963 in LeRoy, Minnesota. Edith loved boating, fishing, hunting and casino trips. She loved to go to Branson with her sister. A member of the VFW, she also enjoyed visiting and socializing at the American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her sister, Juanita Engan of Dorchester, Iowa; brother, Gerald Emery of Fort Morgan, Colorado; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including special friend, John Percival of Austin. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Alvie Emery and nephews, Harlan Engan and Ernie Engan, Jr; sister-in-law, Joyce Emery.
Memorial services will be held at 2:p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation is one hour prior to the service. Interment is at Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Memorials are preferred to donors choice.

OBITUARY-
BROWNSDALE -- Wesley Huffman, 56, of rural Brownsdale, died Wednesday morning (Sept. 8, 1993) at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Born Nov. 7, 1936, in Austin, he served as a private in the Army from November 1953 to July 1954.
Survivors include his wife, Edith; three children, Allen, Julie and Terryno addresses or last names; three grandchildren; five brothers, Roy, Harold, Duane and Ronald, all of Austin, and Earl of Lake City; and four sisters, Lavonne (Mrs. Kai) Norgaard of Waseca, Minn., Maxine (Mrs. Rolland) Brady and Wanita cq (Mrs. Gene) Pfeifer, both of Austin, and Viola (Mrs. Bob) Deyo of St. Paul. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mayer Funeral Home in Austin, with the Rev. Joe Matt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call an hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.

Ernest Edward Engan, age 77 of Dorchester, lA, passed away Sat. Dec. 29, 2012 at Veteran's Memorial Hospital in Waukon, IA
He was born August 13, 1935 in Hesper, lA, Winneshiek Co., to Palmer and Alice (Nelson) Engan. He was baptized at Hesper Lutheran Church, and confirmed at Big canoe Lutheran Church. Ernest attended rural school in Winneshiek Co., where he had perfect attendance for the first seven years.
He was a lifelong area resident except for a year spent in South Dakota, and four years in California.
Ernest farmed with his mother until entering the Air Force. He served four years in the military during the Korean War. He worked at a foundry in Illinois, after which he was a logger. He was a member of Big canoe Lutheran Church in rural Decorah, IA.
He is survived by his wife Juanita - His sons; Ernie (Dana), Wayne (Sandy), and Troy (Kim). his daughters; Connie (Ed) Urell and Kim (Rick) Crawford, and grandchildren, Melissa (Darin) De Wall, Carrie Crawford, Ian Urell, Claire Urell, Kevin (Emily) Engan and Allie Engan and great-grandchildren Dakota and Zoey DeWall. His brother Maynard Engan, and his sisters Polly Stoen and Barbara Haugen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother Earl, his older brother Selmer, his son Harlan and his grandson Ernie Earl Engan, Jr.
