Thomas Sidney Stout, Sr. of Mayville died Sunday, June 9, 2002 at the U niversity of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. He was 64. He was born June 16, 1937 at Mayville, the son of Morton and Geraldine (Rice) St out. He attended Mayville Schools and was a veteran and had lived at Mayville all his life. He married Sylvia (White) Blonde on December 20, 1969 at Mills Memorial Baptist Church in Mayville. He retired from Metal Fab Truck and Bus of Flint after 40 years of service. He enjoyed his gradchildren, snowmobiling and sports.

Survivors include six children: Thomas S. Jr. and wife Tommy of Lansing , Deena Stout of Columbiaville, Gregory Stout of Mayville, Susan Shaver o f Mayville, Loyd John Blonde: of Quincy, Florida, and Cindy and husband Sergio Torres of Quincy, Florida; five grandchildren: Tony and wife Pam Blonde, David Blonde, Beau Shaver, Kandyce Stout, and Michael Stout; one great grandchild, Sidney Blonde; his mother, Geraldine Stout of Mayville ; five brothers: Gerald and wife Greta, Rex and wife Lillian, Douglas and wife Mary, and Brian, all of Mayville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, in 2001; a brother, Phillip; his father, Morton; and stepson, Michael Blonde.

Funeral services were 1-1 a.m., Thursday, June 13 at the Avram Funeral H ome in Mayville with Pastor Keith Mead officiating. Interment was at Rich Township Cemetery, Mayville, with military honors performed by the Mayville Morrison-Mead American Legion Post #181 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #10884 of Mayville. Arrangements were made by Avram Funeral Home, 6028 Lincoln Street, .Mayville; 989-843-5441.Memorials are suggested in care of the Family Discretionary Fund.

67, of Silverwood died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 4, 2015. He was born August 30, 1947 in Caro to Harold J. and Irene E. (Stout) Harp. He married Deborah Ann Thomas October 27, 1973 in Dayton Center Church. Dave was a wonderful father, remarkable grandfather, and a loving husband t o Deb for more than 40 years.

Dave graduated from Kingston High School in 1965. He joined the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era and then worked for General Motors for 30 years at plants in both Pontiac and Saginaw. Dave was a farmer at heart raising Belgian and Quarter Horses and cows. He was a lifelong horse man and breeder. Dave was a founding member of the Thumb Draft Horse Association. He was also a dairy farmer for many years, working both as a f armer and at GM full time. Dave was a great friend and was always willing to help those in the neighborhood, no matter what time of day or night. He was often found working on cars, farm equipment, and all things mechanical.

Dave is survived by his wife, Deborah; children: Dawn (Kevin Richter) Harp of Kingston, Andrew (Janice) Harp of Clarkston, Heather (Dan Coward ) Harp of Millington, Holly Harp of Silverwood; grandchildren: Jacob, R achel, Sara, RayAnn, Brycen; brothers: John (Mary) Harp of Silverwood; H arold James Harp of Deford; several nieces and nephews; many close frie nds. He is preceded in death by his sister, Sara Gottler.

Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 in Dayton Center C hurch, Silverwood with Pastor Taylor McManigell and Rev. Keith Mead, of ficiating. Interment will take place in the spring in East Dayton Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Harp: Paul Rye, Andrew Harp, Jacob Kienitz, Dawn Harp, Heather Harp, Holly Harp. SFC Bradley R. Stout U.S. Army (Ret.) lost his battle with failing heal th on July 28, 2012 at the age of 59. Brad was born on May 6, 1953 in Detroit, MI.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Theron Stout and his mother Marjorie A. Trepagnier Stout.

He is survived by his son, Theron W. Stout, San Antonio, TX and brother , Kevin H. Stout (Gretschen), nephews Shane, Robert, niece Lynsey of Fraser, MI, and aunt Lorraine Miller and cousins of Livonia, MI.

Brad joined the Army and served his country honorably in Preventive Medicine N C O/Detachment. First Sergeant, April 1977-October, 1998. He received the Southwest Asia Service Medal with 1 Bronze service star in addition to many other medals. After his military career, he accepted a position at the Alamo as a history interpreter and Living Historian, Nov . 1999 to Apr. 2003; returned on Oct. 2005 as Historian until May, 2008 . Brad's love of history gave him much pleasure to be part of the re-enactment team at the Alamo. He was chosen to represent a soldier on the Alamo Calendar for 2002. He enjoyed the seek and find of rare collectables from rocks, coins to hot wheel cars.

Brad will be missed by family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the United Methodist Youth Fellowship c/o Alamo United Methodist Church, 4071 N. Foster Road, San Antonio, TX, 78244. Gr aveside Service will begin at 1:30 pm on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
