JENKINS, Mo. - Yva Lee Addison, 90, a homemaker, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2009.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Highland Memory Gardens, Lake Charles, La. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wedneday at Johnson Funeral Home, Lake Charles. Local arrangements are under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville, Mo.

Jesse J. (Jay) White was a Painter in Nehi Bottling Company.1 Jesse James "Jay" White, 96, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Lake Charles. A native of Natalbany, LA, he had lived in Lake Charles since 1918. Jay attended Second Ward and Central School and worked as an operator for Nehi Bottling Company in Lake Charles a number of years. He was a longtime painter and member of Painter's Local # 783. He is survived by his children, Barbara Salvo, Jenel Thibodeaux and husband Lionel, James White and wife Jane and Loren White and wife Kim; fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty seven years Verna Addison White; daughter Beverly Jay, parents Joseph Albert White and Bessie Belle Bardwell White and brothers Homer Young White and Linton "Al" White. His funeral will be at 11:00 am, Friday, March 19, 2010 in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Francis LaRocque will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Thursday from 4 until 9 pm and from 8 am on Friday. Pallbearers will be grandsons Leland, Calvin and Troy Thibodeaux, Kenneth Hilliard, Jason Salvo and Danny White. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 3626 Common Street, Lake Charles, LA 70607.

ALEX J. ADDISON
Moss Bluff - Funeral services for Alex Jason Addison, 46. will be at 3 p.m. today, Nov. 10, in Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles.

The Rev. Steve Bennett will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens.

Mr. Addison died at 2 p.m. Thursday at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles and a member of the Archery Club of Lake Charles and Carpenters Local 953.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alicia Renee Sittig; one son, Erik Gregory Addison; one sister., Mrs. Cathryn Sanders, all of Moss Bluff; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Converse Addison of Anacoco, and one brother, Ronald D. Addison of Eagle Rock, MO.

The Revs, Ernest Walker and Eddie Simmonds will officiatie. Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder,

Visitation is 4-10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Addison died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, Feb, 22, 2000. in a local hospital.

She was a native of Lake Charles. She was a graduate of Westlake High School and was a member of the Lake Charles Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies Auxilairy, She was a past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of Sale Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Tadda Sonnier of Big Lake, Annette Berry of Columbus, Ga., Loyce Stroud of Sulphur, Phyllis Tramonte of Lake Charles and Karen Milner of Longville; one son Leroy Harvey Addison, Jr.of El Paso, Texas; two sisters, Ilma Cooper of Silsbbe, Texas, and Mary Tramonte of Lake Charles; two brothers, Kenneth Davis of Carlisle, Pa., and Gilbert Davis of Gillis; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Contact Helpline, P.O. Box 12002, Columbus, GA 31917, or to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home in Alexandria, the family said.
