G. Arthur Whitney BENTLEY Funeral services for G. Arthur Whitney, 68, of Rose City, formerly of Bentley, were held here Saturday at the Burtch home and later at the M. E. church. Services were under the auspices of the of the Masonic lodge with Matthew Umphrey assisting. Burial was in Bentley cemetery. Whitney died Thursday in a West Branch hospital of pneumonia. He leaves three sons, George of Bay City, Bernard of Jackson, LeRoy of Detroit; six daughters, Mrs. Maude Kerr, Mrs. Bertha Mathieson, of Jackson, Mrs. Ethel Shukait of Detroit, Mrs. Nettie Secquor of Royal Oak, Mrs. Lucille Sivers Colosson and Doris of West Branch; two brothers Chrles of Houghton, Roy of Mio; two sisters, Mrs Josie Payne and Mrs. Nettie McCrea of Detroit.

Death of G. Arthur Whitney Funeral services for G. Arthur Whitney of Rose City, formerly of Bentley, who died of pneumonia Thursday, May 27, (1937) at Tolfree hospital West Branch, were held Saturday, May 29 at the M. E. church, Bentley, after a short service at the Burtch home. Masons had charge of the services, assisted by Matthew Umphrey.
