Dorothy E. Hubbard was born on 5 October 1927 in Coushatta, Red River Parish, Louisiana.1 She died on 10 February 2012, at age 84, in Lansing, Ingham, Michigan.1 She was buried in Clarence Center Cemetery, Clarence Center, Calhoun, Michigan.1
Dorothy, 84, of Eaton Rapids, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at a Lansing hospital. She was the second oldest of nine children born to Charley and Iris (Woodall) Hubbard.

Dorothy retired as a secretary for the Vesely Company in Lapeer. A long standing member of the Springport United Methodist Church and the U.M.W.

She was preceded in death by her husband's Ben Henderson, Victor Hoag and Robert Congdon; daughter, Diane England "Lady Di"; step-son, Daniel Congdon; grandson, Michael Hoag; granddaughter, April England; sisters, Juanita Hubbard and Shirley Patton; brothers, Bernard and Tom Hubbard.

Surviving are one son, Dennis Hoag of Eaton Rapids; 4 grandchildren, Aaron England of Charlotte, Christopher Hoag of Denver, Annastasia (Jonathan) Hampton of South Bend, and Brent (Andrea) Hoag of New Buffalo; 3 great grandchildren, James, Cody and Josh Beam; brothers, Daniel Hubbard of Eaton Rapids and Bill (Joan) Hubbard of Alabama; sisters, Martha Blevins of Mendon, LA. and Gwen (LaVern) Sigourney of Irons, MI.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Springport United Methodist Church with Rev. Melissa Claxton officiating.

Nancy Ann Lorton was born on 8 December 1843 in Mexico, Audrain, Missouri.1 She and William James (W. J.) Chase were married on 23 March 1862 in Nemaha County, Nebraska. She died on 16 April 1879, at age 35, in Salem, Franklin, Nebraska.1 She was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Verdon, Richardson, Nebraska.1
