TWO TEENAGERS ON MOTORCYLE KILLED IN COLLISION WITH TRUCK
MONTICELLO--Two White County teenagers were killed at 5:30 p.m. Sunday when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck just east of Idaville. Dead are William John Talbutt, 16, of Buffalo, driver of the motorcyle, and Patricia Gail Clothier, 15, of Rt. 1, Idaville, passenger on the motorcyle. Both were killed instantly, Talbutt of multiple internal injuries, and Miss Clothier of a fractured skull and broken neck, according to White County Coroner, G. H. Chandler.
Born Oct. 16, 1957, in Monticello, Miss Clothier was the daughter of Perry D. and Marjorie MacKinnon Clothier.
She was a sophomore at Twin Lakes High School and a member of the White Oak United Methodist Church at Headlee, and the United Methodist Youth Fellowship. She also was a member of the Right and Bright 4-H Club in Jackson Township, a 4-H junior leader and member of the Future Homemakers Club.
Surviving with her parents are two brothers, Demarr G., of Rt. 1, Idaville, and Donald, of Brownsburg; a sister, Valerie, at home; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles MacKinnon. One sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Harrison Funeral Home in Royal Center, the Rev. Gorman Pritchet officiating. Burial will be in the Pro Cemetery at Headlee.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
