TALBOT, Gerald William - After an unbelievably courageous battle with cancer. Gerald William Talbot in his 51st year, passed away at Woodstock General Hospital on Saturday August 16, 2008. He is survived by his wife of thirty one years, Janice Talbot (nee Roloson). Dedicated father of Brian, Ron and Timothy all at home. Cherished son of Fern Talbot (nee Motheral) and the late William Talbot. Beloved brother of Wanda (Mike) Davis, Brenda (James) Seymour, and chosen brother of William (Ruby) Armour. Devoted uncle of Lee Ann (Jerry) Belanger and Nicole Seymour. Great uncle of Lauren and Madison. Also survived by sisters-in-law Rose -Roger (deceased), Debbie -Wayne (deceased), Julie -Ernie, Angela -Paul and their families. Friends may call at the LONGWORTH FUNERAL HOME 845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock (519-539-0004) Tuesday August 19th, from 1-3 pm and 6-8 pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel Wednesday August 20th at 10:00 am with Rev. Olga McKellar officiating. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Cemetery, Curries. Contributions to Oxford Centre United Church Memorial Fund, Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55 would be greatly appreciated.
