JOHNSON, MICHAEL - Suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, June 4, 2000, in his 76th year, Michael, beloved son of Kathleen (nee Szabo) *; loving father of Roger and his wife Rose; cherished grandfather of Tammy and Shelly; dear brother of Alfred Johnson; predeceased by his two sisters Florence and Margret, and by four brothers, Ralph, Leonard, Merlin and Norman.
Michael will also be sadly missed by Brian Ferrier and his family, his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Michael was a veteran of the Second World War. The family will receive friends at the "Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home" 96 West Street, Brantford, on Wednesday from 11 to 1 p.m. A complete funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Cremation, if desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. JOHNSON, Roger C.L. - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, November 28th, 2007 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Rose. Loving father of Tammy (Chris), and Shelly (Chris). Devoted “Poppa“ of Zachary and Emalyn. He is predeceased by his grandson Ethan, and his brother Wayne. Also survived by his sisters Janice (Gerald), Julia (Ernie), and Angela (Paul). He will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the BECKETT- GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Roger in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest. www.beckettglaves.com
